The first thing one should do when looking for information in the Benchmark User Forum is to search for the specific issue you have in the search bar. Others may have had the same question before, faced the same hurdle or found a cool trick they wanted to share. We want to build a community here, and having our users help one another out is a big part of that.

If you did not find your solution, first decide which subject your inquery falls under:

Using Benchmark Email: Any issues, questions or cool tips related to Benchmark Email.
Best Practices: Help guide your fellow users in the right direction with their email marketing efforts. Best time to send, testing, subject writing, helpful manuals, etc.
Small Business Resources: Are you using other products that work great for your business? Tell everyone else about them here.
Water Cooler: Everything else. That crazy cat video, discussion on the latest celebrity divorce or anything else everyone is talking about around the water cooler.

Then Start a New Topic.

The first step is to write your title. Try and be consise and use proper terms. It will help others in the future find the thread if they have a similar question.

Add a few relevant Topic Tags, using commas to separate them. This will help it be more searchable and easier to find for future forum users.

Now for the important part: The reason you came to the forum in the first place, to post your question, concern, idea or crazy cat video. This part is fairly straightforward. You can do things like bold, italicize and underline your text, add a picture and add links. That is done with the buttons that live right on top of the box you are writing in. Holding your mouse over the buttons, you can see what each button does.
