Why isn't my list being approved?

List approval is our process to make sure each and every list is Opt-In. In other words, we may check to see if your contacts have given you permission to email them.

During this procedure, we may ask you for documentation to ensure that your list is permission based. This could be why your list has not been approved yet. Please check your email to see if we might have sent a request for more information.

Question: Is there a template supplied by Benchmark to request permission from a potential viewer/customer to receive a newsletter or advertisement?  In the template a small amount of info about the company requesting permission.

We do have just the sort of template you are discussing. We often suggest users to do it old, or stagnant lists, to make sure that they can easily purge their lists of unwanted subscribers. It's quality, not quantity! The template is used to update your list, to make sure you have subscribers that want to hear from you.

The template is found in the Newsletters category. This is done on Step 3 (Template) of the Email creation process.
